Stroud Valleys Family Practice is a long established NHS general practice. We are a small surgery and that helps us build good relationships with our patients and offer a friendly, personalised and efficient service. We are committed to personal care, try to ensure that one doctor is responsible for the whole family and encourage patients to see their own doctor if possible as this gives good continuity of care. If you have a preference to see a certain doctor let us know and we will always do our best to accommodate you.
Our GPs offer the full range of medical services including family planning, cervical screening, minor surgery, maternity care and child health services. We are actively involved with the training of future GPs and often have a fully qualified doctor working with us to gain practical experience as a GP. We also help with the training of medical students, who join us for short periods of time.
Every one of us working at the surgery really enjoys the variety of general practice and our aim is to provide up to date care whilst always keeping the individual patient in mind.
