If you are on long-term medication and eligible for repeat prescriptions you can order them in a number of ways:
- In Person - drop your repeat slip in at reception with the required items clearly marked.
- Online - follow the link at the top of this page . If you have not yet registered for online prescription ordering and appointment booking you will need to come in to the surgery with personal identification (passport or photographic driving licence preferred) and we will issue a username and password.
- By Post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
- Through the chemist - did you know that the chemist can order for you? They can also deliver your medication if you are housebound or unable to collect them
Please allow 48 hours for your prescription to be ready for collection at the surgery
From 1st October 2017 we will cease to accept verbal (including over the phone) requests for repeat prescriptions.
For a number of reasons verbal requests are the most common cause of medication/prescribing errors and therefore by stopping the service we improve our efficiency and safety around prescribing.
If you are on regular medication your doctor will ask you to come in for a check up from time to time. This appointment might be with the doctor, practice nurse or health care assistant depending on the doctor's guidance.
